Introducing the fourth-generation of the R1 deluxe Bluetooth radio. Each generation of R1 has been an evolution over the predecessor and the new R1 Mk4 makes a giant leap in both design and performance. 

The R1 Mk4's cabinet has been developed through a new moulding process allowing for an exact profile of the enclosure. Strong and acoustically inert, the cabinet provides a fresh feel and is the perfect surface for the new Light Cream and Espresso finishes. The R1 Mk4 also features a linear amplifier along with a NS+ driver and adaptive equalisation which produces an eminently pleasing sound at all volume levels. Complimenting the design is a hand-crafted slatted wood grille bringing further sophistication and creating a timeless aura.

Our previous R1 models were critically acclaimed for their sound but with R1 Mk4 we have further raised the bar! 

With our heritage in high-fidelity loudspeakers we understand the complexities of enclosure and drive unit design. Our latest neodymium NS+ driver provides a smooth and extended frequency response and with R1 Mk4’s tuned enclosure it delivers an impressive bass performance.

Driving the system is a punchy Class A/B linear amplifier for exceptional dynamics and eminently listenable sound that is provided at all volume levels.

Our crisp OLED display clearly shows time, alarm and programme information. It auto adjusts to suit ambient light levels, making it a perfect bedside companion.
